If I own a folder and invite collaborators, is there a way I can turn off all email notifications that get sent to the collaborators but still have my notification settings unaffected? All I see is the tick box for "Disable all email notifications for all collaborators" but nothing that allows me to still get them. Otherwise, if I want to keep my notification settings it seems that each individual collaborator will have to change there's themselves.

It's not possible to get exempted from when you disable all email notifications for all collaborator in a folder.
If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
