Hi Team,

in our company we use Box Drive for various automations. We have quite many files and many folks working in one folder. Our automations sometimes struggles to get the latest version of the folder as Box Drive do not refresh folder instantly.

I believe what would help is the Refresh Folder function in Windows Box Drive called by our automation. Can you pls. help me to understand how to call / trigger this function via (for example) command line?

Thank you.

Hi Milan,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

Unfortunately, we currently do not have a guideline on how to trigger the Refresh Folder function in Box Drive via a command line.

If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

All the Best,

Hi Box Team, it's been 2 years. I am following this if you have found a way how to call the Box Refresh function outside of Windows GUI. Thanks.

We are also facing the same issue and our integrations are not pulling the latest files. We would also like to know if this has been resolved as yet. Apparently, quite a few customers are impacted. Thanks.
