Box won't initialize on Mac OS

I tried going through the steps in the support article but it didn't work

I'm using Big Sur version 11.7.6 and Box 2.32.110; this is the error I receive when I try to initialize the app:

Box Drive has encountered an error at initialization that requires you to manually move aside your existing Box folder.
