Since Box Sync won't open on Big Sur, I'm not sure how to update the to the recently released Box Sync v 4.0.8009
I don't want to uninstall Box Sync and then reinstall, b/c it sounds like the unsynced files could be lost.
I've spent the past several hours on the internet searching for solutions, any help would be much appreciated!

So, all the standard disclaimers, but...I downloaded and installed the new version (without removing the old one). Files that had been synced to Box from another computer were downloaded to this one. Files that were created on this computer (the one running Big Sur) were uploaded. Nothing was lost. I'd say make a local backup of your Box Sync folder, and go for it.
