My box reports 8.4 GB of 10.0 GB used even after deleting all files and folders along with emptying the trash. Would you please be able to help me? Thanks

Me too. I deleted all files. From the trash too. Box.com still reports space usage. I'm using the free plan. Why? Please explain!.

Similarly - Box reports 42 GBytes used of 10 GBytes, but there are at most 1 MB of files, and Trash has been emptied. I can't see a document that is being shared with me until Box gets its maths right. How long does that take?

Hi Stella,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

Great news! I went ahead and fixed your storage count. To verify this, log in to box.com> Account Settings> Storage Used.

In the future, if you experience incorrect storage, please let us know in this forum.

Thanks for posting!

It's better After moving to the trash, the free space increases, but even after deleting everything, it shows the used space of 89.8 MB

Enough. Box.com sucks. I'm switching to pCloud.com. Everything works without any problems here and no 250MB file size limit in the free plan.
