It seems that the Box Desktop app does not work on Snarpdragon ARM-based Windows PC's.
I can understand that there may have been a problem years ago. But this is 2024 and ARM-based PC's are becoming mainstream.
SO GET IT FIXED, OK?

Any update on this from Box?   We like Box, but cannot stay if there is no solution

No updates and no response from box support.  Looks like we will be migrating to 365 SharePoint.

It does. You need to download and install SyncMSI64 an msi file obtainable from https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697194-Installing-Box-Sync.

that one installs and works fine on my Microsoft surface laptop x 7 with snapdragon x chip.

the standard boxsync did not work.
