Box is failing to launch and update to 2.49.249 on MacOS

I have attempted to update from 2.49.249 to the latest version but I get this error, “Box Drive has failed to update to version 2.49.249.” When I then attempt to open a support ticket I get this error “Box Drive failed to initialize with macOS. Please relaunch the application to resolve the issue.”

I have tried every variation of the Reset & Uninstall instructions posted, both GUI and CLI based and the problem continues. I even went hunting for every “Box” file I could find and delete them from ~Library/Preferences & ~Library/PreferencePanes.
