Using OneNote with shared Notebooks in Box. This happened occaisionally pre-M365, now seems to occur more often. Multiple copies of the same notebook get created when more than one person is editing the doc. That's what I expect is doing it, no real idea. New copy has a person's name tacked on to it with no info on why.

I get this a lot too. It seems to happen most when I have a Onenote file (.one) that is large and which I have edited recently (and hence which needs backing up). Box Sync in Windows repeatedly creates new copies of that file with my email address in the filename. This is my own Notebook; not shared with anyone else, but I use Box Sync on my Windows laptop to back it up. I would love to solve this problem because the repeated notifications are annoying and I have to keep deleting the duplicate files. The only workaround I've found is to split the notebook section into smaller ones. Quitting and restarting Box Sync sometimes helps too.
