What is exactly happen after Sync Now process?

The result is not working as assumed in here?

After Sync, it just remove collaborators from box folders according to salesforce records permission or sharing?

And in an opposite way, it doesn't add collaborators to box folder who can access record in salesforce?

Hey Lin,

Sync Now removes collaborations for users that should no longer have access to content - this keeps them from being able to get to the content in the main Box UI anymore. So, let's say you remove access rights for a Salesforce user from an object/account you have Box configured for...removing the user's permissions doesn't automatically remove their access immediately in Box - clicking sync now will do that action right then. It will not remove users that you collaborated manually in Box - only the ones that were collaborated via the integration. Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Alex, Box Developer Advocate

Hi Alex, Thanks.

>>access rights for a Salesforce user from an object/account

Did you mean read write permission of object?

The permissions you have in Box mirror the ones you have in Salesforce. So if a user can edit an object in Salesforce, they could be able to in Box.

Hope this helps!
