Box for iPad, 2020 Update - FAQ (Opening PDF files)

Is there anyway to change the default behavior for opening PDF files?  Ever since the 2020 update when I open a PDF in landscape it defaults to showing activity and only uses 2/3 of the screen to show the file.  Really annoying to have to change it every time I open a manual to read something.  Is there anyway to change a setting to open it in full screen by default like it used to?

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    When in landscape view on an iPad, users will have the ability to expand or collapse the activity sidebar by clicking the expand icon in the upper right side of your preview screen, so please make sure to update your Box for iPad with the latest version

    Thank you for the response but it seems that Box will always open the PDF in annotation/activity mode with no way to make full screen the default when opening the PDF.  Can this be added in a future release to be able to change the default behavior?

    Unfortunately, we don't currently offer the functionality you asked about. 
     
    If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
