box folder moved by user way before he was hired.

Hi, a user - whom hired on 10th of August - indicated that a folder was moved by him  to a different location on 3rd of August, but he wasn't worked for our company on that day. Plus he got the access rights to that folder a week later.

Is it a bug or how could this happened ?
