Hi,

I am having an issue logging in to Box Drive on Windows 11.

I can log in to Box successfully in my web browser using my Google account. However, when I try to log in through Box Drive, the following happens:

  1. I click Log In in Box Drive.
  2. My browser opens the Box login page.
  3. I select my Google account and complete the login successfully.
  4. The browser then shows “Launching Box Drive…”.
  5. However, Box Drive does not complete the login. It returns to the login screen again.
  6. If I repeat the process, the same thing happens, so I am stuck in an endless login loop.

Box.com works normally in the browser, but Box Drive cannot complete the authentication.

I have already tried:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Box Drive
  • Restarting the computer
  • Changing the default browser
  • Signing out of Box in the browser and logging in again
  • Clearing Box-related browser cookies/cache

The issue still persists.

My Box account is associated with a Google account. I also noticed that when I tried to create a Box password in Account Settings, Box showed an error saying there was a problem saving the password.

Could this be related to the Google account association or the browser-to-Box Drive authentication callback?

Could you please advise how I can fix this or reset the account association?

Thank you.
