Hi Adam it doesn't look like Box Drive is currently supported on your system, see here ->https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043695854-Windows-Specific-Known-Issues-for-Box-Drive#:~:text=Box%20Drive%20is%20not%20supported,not%20supported%20on%20this%20platform

Box Drive is not supported on ARM-based systems, such as the Microsoft Surface Pro X. If you try to use Drive on these systems, you'll see the error message, "This installation package is not supported on this platform. Contact your application vendor.

Is there any Is there any timeline of when we will get Box Drive support on the Surface Pro X ? timeline of when we will get Box Drive support on the Surface Pro X ?

Hi Folks,

Any news about Box Drive support on the Surface Pro X?

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is there any update on this?  Isn't Box.com "the application vendor?"  How is there support for M1 chips on a Mac but this still is not available in Windows ARM64?

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hey @Box team, is there any expectations on when this will be supported?

Another disappointed customer. Could Box developers let us know when this will be coming? Or any kind of info on it? Running Parallels on my Macbook Pro and this is the only app that doesn't work so far.

4 years later, still not supported ???

Forum|alt.badge.img

just sent a technical support request and found that box will not running on my ARM based Surface 11 pro.

What a shame, after look above comments when the issues actually happened since 4 years ago without any more development.

Now i need to buy new laptop because BOX is one of the essential app for my office works.

What a shame... That's the word!

Box is not cheap especially given that we pay addition for FINRA BD compliance sleeve. We just updated all our computer to Surface. Yikes! I may have to look something else, but what a shame. 4 years and still don't want to resolve this?

and note the public beta restricts any PII making the beta essentially an alpha that should not be in the wild yet…. we are looking at Sharepoint seriously based on Surface device support as well after 8 years with box and 5 years of patience with ARM support for box drive.
