I’m unable to authenticate Box Drive on macOS. Browser authentication with my Google-linked Box account succeeds, and I receive the successful login notification, but Box Drive immediately returns to the login screen.
Box Drive logs show:
OAuth2 token API request failed with error: pkce_verification_failed with description: PKCE verification has failed
followed by:
User is logged out. Showing login dialog.
I have reproduced this in both Chrome and Safari.
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Box Drive (2.54.172), with the same result.
boxfileproviderctl domain list returns an empty domain list, so Box Drive never creates its File Provider domain and therefore never appears in Finder.
My Box Account Settings show Authentication → No Password Created. When I click Create Password, Box.com returns “There was a problem changing your password.”
Entering my Box email address at the normal Box login screen automatically redirects me to Google authentication, so I have no way to bypass Google authentication with a native Box password.
