Morning,

We utilize BOX to manage all of our content, pictures, videos, InDesign files, Word & Excel files etc..

One of the features that BOX has is to lock a file while you work on it, to prevent collisions when other users try to open the same file. This lock feature works fine on all files apart from PDFs on a MAC-based system.

We have contacted BOX support and their engineering team has said it is an issue with the Adobe integration and that we need to contact Adobe to resolve it.

My question before I try and navigate the black hole that is Adobe support is, are any other users seeing this behavior in their BOX drive instance on a MAC?

Thanks

Has there been a resolution for this? I too am on a Mac; however, I've used the lock feature in different browsers to eliminate annotations on PDFs that may be in a revisions process....however, customers are still able to access the PDFs and continue making annotation changes, which in turn is causing issues, confusion and delays in the revision process.
