'Box Drive has failed to update to 2.31.64'

We have a Mac user who has installed version 2.30.88 from Box's download page. After installation it attempts to update to 2.31.64 and fails. We have uninstalled manually and with the Uninstall Box Drive steps on the support page with no luck. Same error.

Version 2.30.88 is functional but the user is prompted repeatedly to update and then that the update has failed.

Any suggestions? Is there a direct download for 2.31.64 we can try instead? Thanks!

I am repeatedly getting the same error message "Box Drive has failed to update to version 2.31.64."  It also asks to send logs and after sending logs it asks to open a support case with Box.  How does one open a support case?
