BOX account with previous employer blocked from access

My former employer has cancelled my BOX account access and I have no access to all my BOX files in that account. What recourse do I have to regain access to my former BOX account in order to transfer files to my new BOX account?

    We don't have access or data regarding your previous Box account. At this rate, your only option is still by contacting your former employer.
