Box access results in errors

For some reason, I cannot access any box folder that I previously was able to last week.  I get one of the following errors:

  • Oops! We can't seem to find the page you're looking for.
  • This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you.

I can get to my own box folder, but nothing else.  Any ideas as to what is going on with my account?

Sounds like the shared links/collaborations expired or were revoked.  Can you contact the owner(s) of the files/folders you were able to access and have them confirm?

I will ask.  I did have one person resend me a link to access a box folder, but the same problem persisted.

 


It’s possible that they didn’t generate the shared link with the right parameters.  Have them check and confirm that, if they choose “invited people only”, that they used the same email address you’re logging into Box with.  If you’re not signing in, then they would use “people with the link”.
