Is it possible to periodically delete files over X days on a Box subfolder?  Retention policies seem like overkill and I'm not sure how to accomplish this via Box Relay, thanks.

What's your goal in deleting files, Greg? Is there a records management or internal guideline you're hoping to conform to? Could you be looking for an easy archival process with Box Relay (which I typically recommend more often than en masse deletions without a retention policy)?

Many enterprises use retention policies to conform to a disposition standard or legal requirement. Some types of content have to be retained for a particular period of time and no longer, such as payroll records for 3 years after an employee's departure to meet FLSA. Deleting these records too soon has legal implications, and retaining them for too long has risk implications.

Happy to help find the right solution for your goal.

Thanks!  Payroll user wanted to keep a backup folder "clean" by deleting files > 30 days old.  I wanted to keep retention policies limited to specific compliance use cases, but there's no limit to # of policies and they are the best way to accomplish this.

W/that said I am curious as to how this would be accomplished in Relay.  I haven't used it much but could not configure an outcome that takes action on files older than X days. Thanks again for the quick response.
