AUTHORISATION TO EDIT THE FILE HAS EXPIRED

In recent weeks I have started to receive "unable to save" warnings when I try to save an open excel file to Box.

The message is "file could not be saved to Box because your authorisation to edit the file has expired" and then a version is saved to my desktop. 

This is happening to files which have only been open a few hours.

Have the time limits of how long you can keep a file open been changed?
