Hello, 

I have started a new app with client credentials and have granted it access to all folders and files in my box account. I am trying to access a folder in an older app token authorized app but cannot gain access. Is there something Im missing ? I have read all the docs and they say I should be able to access.

Please advise

    Are you sure the new application is collaborated into the folder that the app token auth's service account owns?

    Hi, 

    I was not aware of that. Can you give advice on to what token I need to use to grant create the collaboration through api? I tried with token from app token app where it was unauthorized and with a token from client credential app where the folder was not found. 

    Also confirming I am adding the service account email as a collaborator using its user id ?

    You should see the service account of the new app in the configuration section of the developer console after it is authorized by an admin... that is the email that needs collaborated into the folder you are trying to access.
