Allow more than 1 user to editing document

Hello, 

I have seen in past posts published a few years ago that having more than 1 person editing a document at the same time is not feasible.  Is this still something that is not possible? 

There are many times where we want to edit a Powerpoint with multiple people working on it at the same time.
