Are the files you're looking for your owned contents or collaborated with? If it's the latter, you may reach out to the folder owner and request for a collaboration re-invite.
Meanwhile, if you're looking for your owned contents kindly check your trash by going to box.com> trash/bin icon.
Here's how you could easily sort, search or filter your deleted files and possibly restore it.

I believe they were collaborated but the company that did our scanning has since gone out of business. Can you see who owns the files I have previously collaborated on so I can contact them??
