Our team was using the free Box Community Edition to store several important documents. As of recently, all team members have lost access to every document in that environment. No notifications were received regarding account expiration, data deletion, policy changes, or access revocation.
Issue Observed:

All documents previously stored in the Box Community Edition account are no longer accessible.

Access appears revoked or content appears deleted.

Nothing is present in the Trash folder

No prior warnings or system notifications were received.

Impact affects the entire team.

No one has access to any of the files.
Request:

Confirm whether the documents have been deleted, archived, or access-restricted due to account status or policy changes.

Restore the documents if they still exist within Box’s retention or archival systems.

Provide guidance on next steps to prevent this issue from recurring.
