After recent Windows 11 updates, when trying to run Box for Desktop it shows the fatal error: "Failed to execute script bfd_main".

Windows Updates:
KB5013943 - Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems
KB5013628 - Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 11 for x64
KB5014326 - .NET Core 3.1.25 Security Update for x64 Client
KB5014330 - .NET 6.0.5 Security Update for x64 Client
KB5014329 - .NET 5.0.17 Security Update for x64 Client

KB2267602 - Security Intelligence Update for Micorosoft Defender Antivirus

KB890830 - Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64

A solution to mitigate the problem:

Enable .NET Framework 3.5

I just had this issue tonight. Can't even uninstall it. Is it really due to Win11 updates?

The last update caused a lot of problems for a lot of apps, not just Box. For me and a lot of other people all of those were mitigated after enabling .NET Framework 3.5.

Thanks. Box is back after enabling .Net Framework 3.5.
