I am trying to add a file to Box and I am receiving this error message "The operation cannot be completed because of an unexpected error occurred (error code 100078). Am I doing something wrong?

May I know what method of upload are you using when adding your file to Box?
Are you uploading via Box webapp or are you using Box desktop app such as Box Drive or Box Sync?
Can you share a screenshot of the error you receive so we can take a look?

I'm receiving this error as well. I'm attempting to upload files via the Box Drive system extension in OS X 11.0.1
I was able to narrow it down to directories which contained symbolic links.
