Hi
Welcome to Box Community, and we’d love to assist!
Even on an enterprise plan with unlimited overall storage, managed user quotas can cause “Account storage limit reached” errors if those quotas are filled. The solution is to manage the folder owner’s storage allocation or clean up their used space.
You can narrow down the issue by identifying the folder owner, and see if the owner’s used storage is already full. If he/she’s one of your managed users, you can easily resolve the error by increasing the user’s storage allocation.
To increase/edit your managed user’s storage allocation:
- Login to Box.com and navigate to Admin Console> Users & Groups>Managed Users.
- Select the user then edit. And under User Details please modify the user’s total storage in Storage Used/Allocated (GB) section.
- Click Save to capture the changes.
Hope it helps, and please let us know if you have additional questions.
