Account deletion and creation

Good morning, we are performing a domain migration in Active Directory using the same Okta service for both.
Basically it happens that when a user is moved, the old account is deleted. When the migration is completed (around 60 minutes) the account is created from scratch in box.com with the same email but without settings and access to existing shares. Is there a way to avoid that? is there a way to export user's configuration and restore it when the user is created again? maybe would it be possible to schedule sync between Okta and Box?
So far we have this issue with 70 accounts but the plan would be to migrate about 900.
