How can I access files I made available offline from other apps or at least be able to choose which app to open with, when opening the file from within Box?


I keep getting the message "No installed application can open this file", when in fact I know which app to use, but there is no way to access it from Box.


Preview Unavailable You can try opening the file in its source app. How can I do this I wonder, when the source app is on my Mac, and I want to open it in my phone, but Box can't recognize the app on my phone as an app able to open the file?

Can we confirm the application that you wanted to use to open your Box files? Also, please attach a screenshot of your error in the forum.

As you can see in this screenshot I am trying to open MacPass.kdb which is a KeePass file, and I have KeePassDroid installed, which can open the file just fine, when I transfer the file manually by other means. Box does not register the app as an app able to open this filetype, and gives me no option to find an app myself ... pretty irritating.
