Accepting Invite

Please make sure the you are logged in to the correct account and go to the "All Files" page. If the shared folder you are looking for isn't there then the invitation may have expired. Have the collaborator validate if he is seeing you as collaborator to that folder. If not, I suggest that you ask to have the invitation sent again.

does it have to be under the exact same email?

Hi, I’m having the same issue. I have an email under the default and linked section in my account settings, but I still am not able to accept the email invite and see the folder(s) in my Box. How else can I fix this issue?

Welcome to Box Community, and we’re glad to assist accept your folder/file invitation! 

To accept the pending invitations sent to your Box account, please follow these steps: 

1. In the left menu of your Box account window, click Files.
2. In the pending invitations panel under ACTION REQUIRED, hover on the name of a file or folder.
3. To see details about the invitation, click the ellipses, ”…”, and select View Details.
4. To decline the invitation, click the ellipses, ”…”, and select Decline All.
5. To accept the invitation and gain access to the project’s content, click Accept.

Does your error accepting the folder persists? If yes, feel free to attach a screenshot of your error to get a closer look.
