About BOX collaborative editing using Box tools


I am having trouble co-editing Excel with my business partner.
There is information that "Box tools can be used for online collaborative editing", so I tried it.
I installed Box tools, but it only says "edit offline",
Simultaneous editing data of another person is only saved as a copy version in Box.


I can select Box with "Add Location" in Excel,
"Disabled by administrator" is displayed.
Could this be the cause?


When I open the Excel sheet that I want to co-edit, I can only select "Microsoft Excel".

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 


Box Tools/Edit does not support concurrent editing. Meanwhile, to simultaneously edit your excel files with your collaborators on Box, you should enable coauthoring in Microsoft Office for Box.
