2 step verification enabled but box invitation isn't recognizing it and wants me to set it up.

I received an invitation to access a file. Can’t access file as it says that authenticator app setup is required and presents a button to “set up.”

However, when I click “set up” it tells me that its already enabled.

I need access to these files ASAP. Help.
