By combining ServiceNow’s AI and workflow orchestration with Box’s secure content management and AI agent capabilities, this integration enables intelligent, automated decision-making across key enterprise functions such as HR, IT service management (ITSM), legal, and more.
How to Get Started
To use Box AI Agents for ServiceNow, you must install the Box AI Agents application from the ServiceNow AI Agent Marketplace. Once installed in your ServiceNow instance, the agent securely connects NowAssist with your Box content using OAuth and the Model Context Protocol.
After installation, you can use the agent immediately or customize it through ServiceNow’s AI Agent Studio to fit your organization’s workflows and use cases.
Key agent capabilities:
- Content extraction: retrieve specific clauses, sections, or data points from Box files such as contracts, reports, and playbooks.
- Metadata access: extract file-level details, like owner, last modified date, or license contract details.
- Summarization and insights: generate concise summaries and key takeaways from single or multiple Box documents.
- Conversational Q&A: ask natural language questions about Box document content and receive instant, AI-powered responses.
