Hi, I updated a collaborator email recently but when I start to type his name it autopopulates (suggests) the old email and not the new one I entered. I don’t see the old email anywhere listed in Collaborators but the old email address keeps showing up (along with the new one). Help!

I’ve checked this internally, and this is how the collaborator suggestion works, which is an expected behavior. When a user has previously been invited to collaborate on content, their email will appear in the suggested list, even if they’ve been removed from the managed users or external collaborations list. When searching for collaborators, the system searches the list of users who have previously collaborated on items owned by the searching user.
To ensure that external users who no longer need access to your content are removed, please follow these steps:

Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.

Select Collaborators to access the collaborators page.

Find the email address of the contact you no longer wish to collaborate with and hover over it.

Click the “Remove” button next to their name to remove them from your collaborators list.
