Box Doc Gen enables customers to dynamically generate custom documents natively within Box as an outcome in Box Relay, eliminating the tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone process of manually creating and modifying mission-critical documents while significantly improving operational efficiency.
Box Doc Gen empowers teams to automatically generate custom, error-free documents in a matter of seconds — reducing turnaround times, mitigating risk, and eliminating manual data entry. When configured in tandem with the Box Forms trigger in Box Relay, your teams can leverage data via Box Forms submissions, Box Relay workflow variables, and more to instantly generate accurate, custom documents based on dynamic templates that handle everything from conditional formatting and dynamic tables to custom images and arithmetic calculations.
With the Box Doc Gen natively in Box, customers can:
- Leverage the Box Doc Gen Template Creator in Microsoft Word to create dynamic Box Doc Gen templates complete with conditional logic, calculations, dynamic formatting, tables, images, and more.
- Auto-populate data from Box Forms, Box Relay Workflow variables, and manual data entry into Box Doc Gen templates.
- Dynamically generate custom documents directly in Box and automatically send those documents e-signature or approval using the Box Sign outcome in Box Relay.
Generated documents are automatically formatted based on the Box Doc Gen template and data sources. This enables everyone to address multiple use cases without the headache of manually configuring documents, inputting data, and incurring time-consuming delays.
With these new features and capabilities as a part of Enterprise Advanced, teams can configure Box Relay to automate workflows end-to-end with by collecting data via Box Forms submissions, using that data to generate documents with Box Doc Gen, and automatically sending those documents for e-signature or approval in Box Sign.
