Microsoft Copilot IntegrationsBox has been working closely with Microsoft to embed its content cloud within the Copilot experience.Box.ai Agent in Copilot: This Box-built agent allows users to search and summarize content directly from their Box account within various Copilot interfaces, including Copilot chat, Teams, and Office apps. A recent enhancement added the ability to upload files and create new folders in Box directly from the agent.   MCP Integrations: Box is leveraging its Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCP) server to extend its reach

Video files aren’t supported yet. For photos, it should work as long as they’re in one of the supported formats: JPEG, JPG, TIF, TIFF, or PNG  This could be along the lines of EXIF data too, which isn't really an AI thing, but rather just a data layer Box could scrape. https://photographylife.com/what-is-exif-data Box Consulting has a custom offering for both one-time EXIF scrape from a set of existing files and go-forward application of EXIF data.  A workaround is extract from the video transcript, although you don’t get the full context of the video.

On August 17, 2026, an update to the Box Terms of Service ("Terms") will take affect for those users whose accounts are subject to the Terms and not a separate written agreement, such as the Box Service Agreement. None of these changes affect the pricing for your subscription to the Box Service.The Terms reflect the commitments Box and its users make to each other. The updates include language to clarify your responsibilities for service resource overages and how you can contact Box.By continuing to use the Box service, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to our updated Terms of Service which you may view here. 

We are incredibly excited to announce support for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance in Box Sign via the public API, enabling developers in life sciences, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organizations to build e-signature workflows that can support FDA signature requirements within their own custom or third party applications.
