Do you know if there’s a way that the user who assigned a task to another user, can also marked it as completed? Some users complete their tasks, but don’t change the status.

Hi
Only the assigned user can take action on a task, whether that’s marking it as complete, approving, or rejecting it. Tasks in Box are designed this way to ensure accountability and to preserve accurate task history, including in user activity reports.
If a certain user is not the assignee, he’s unable to complete the task on their behalf. The assigned user will need to take that action directly.
If the assigned users have already completed the tasks but haven’t marked them as completed, you may consider using comments (@ mention them) to request feedback or notify them of updates to the file, gently reminding them to mark the task as complete.
