An email address can only be linked to one Box account. Since you’ve already signed up for a Free Individual account, which is different from the Developer account, here are your options to resolve this:

Sign up with a different email

Release your current email from the Individual account
- Because Box only allows one account per email, you’ll need to change the email on your existing account first.
- Steps:
- Click your initials in the upper-right corner → Account Settings
- Scroll down to Default Email Address → click Link Personal Email
- Verify the new email (it will be set as secondary)
- Switch the new email to primary, then remove the original email tied to the account
- Once released, you can use your preferred email to sign up for the Free Developer account.
