Hello,

I have former partner that set up most of the files.  When I take away his access I can no longer see all the company files that are usually accessible to both of us.  How do I remove him but keep all of the access that I’ve always had?

👋 Hi @bchavez, welcome to the Box Community! I’d be glad to assist.

Are you a collaborator on folders or files that this person owns? If so, they can transfer ownership of the folder to you by making you the new owner. Once the transfer is complete, you can remove them as a collaborator.

📌 Please visit Managing Collaborators > Transferring Folder Ownership to learn more.

On the other hand, if this former partner listed as a managed user in the same enterprise that you manage, you can delete the user and transfer their content to yourself or to another user on your account. You can also move files anywhere within your organization using Content Manager.

If you need additional help managing your account, please submit a ticket to Product Support.

Thank you, and we look forward to helping you get this resolved.
