I have a 10 User System but cannot add the 10th User (who will be external)

I apprecaite that ths question has been asked before and I have given it several days before trying to add again. Basically I have to add a 10th User to the 10 User Account, he will be an extrenal User. When I go to do this, the system tells me that I have used 9 out of 10, but wont let me add another?

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist! 

 

If you have a Starter or Business account, seats refer to both internal and external users. Each user you invite into your folders is a collaborator you are paying for. (People with whom you share links do not count as collaborators. 

 

If you’re at or over your purchased license count, the Admin Console shows an “add seats / pay” section and won’t let you add users until you accept the payment for additional seats.

 

If the UI says you’ve used 9 of 10 but still blocks adding a 10th, try refreshing the Admin Console and re-checking user lists (and confirm there aren’t pending invites/unmanaged accounts consuming seats).
