How do I update a user name- and maintain all files and folders associated with that specific user?
Hi
When you say you're updating a username, are you referring to the user’s email address? If so, you can go ahead and update the user’s profile. You can check out Configuring and Editing Users for more details.
Their authority levels, owned folders and files, and any shared links won’t be affected when their email address is changed.
