Enable Box AI for consulting demonstration

I signed up for a Box trial to create a demo for my consulting client, who is looking for a new content management platform. I specifically wanted to showcase how workflows can be automated using Box AI. However, Box AI is not enabled for my trial and I can’t create a demo of the solution. I filled out the form to request access to Box AI, but I don’t know if it will go through. If I can’t demo the AI capabilities, I won’t be able to include Box into the available solutions for my clients problem.

To help us look into this further, were you able to configure Box AI in your Box account?


Configuring Box AI in your organization involves determining whether Box AI for Notes and Box AI for Documents is enabled, and if so, which users can use it. You must be the organization Admin or a Co-admin with the View settings and apps for your company and Edit settings and apps for your company permissions enabled to view and edit Box AI settings.

  1. Go to Admin Console > Enterprise Settings.
  2. Click the Box AI tab.
  3. In the User Permissions section, click Edit Configuration for either Box AI for Notes or Box AI for Documents.
  4. Select a choice for user access. See Enterprise Settings: Box AI Tab for details.
  5. Click Save.
