BOX Drive for ARM download

As per Windows-Specific Limitations for Box Drive article:

• Box Drive is not supported on ARM-based Windows PCs, such as the Microsoft Surface Pro X series, or on Windows virtual machines running on ARM-based host computers, such as Macs with M1 or later chips (Apple Silicon).

We would recommend continuing to use Box Drive on a different device, or obtain a separate Windows device (using a non-ARM processor) to successfully install Box Drive.

Meanwhile, our private beta is still ongoing, as previously announced. For more details, please refer to the Box Drive Update community article. This update includes the release of Folder Redirection and ARM support, along with other feature enhancements. While there is no official ETA for the full release, we will continue to keep our users informed. Stay tuned!

Note: Microsoft doesn’t sell the old windows surface laptops anymore.  They are all ARM.
Also, Dropbox supports ARM
Also, Onedrive supports ARM

Also, Google Drive supports ARM

Also, Box Tools does support ARM -- this is almost as good as having drive.  In fact I prefer Box Tools when editing documents.

Box.com does not support ARM yet.

We’re still waiting for the announcement of the public beta for Box Drive with ARM support, as advised here. Please stay tuned for more details. 😊

Are there any new updates on the public beta for the ARM version of Box Drive? I see that replies have been disabled on several previous conversations (like this one) and we can no longer sign up for the private beta. It seems like the public beta is always “2 weeks away.” Is there a new ETA yet?

Hi, I am very frustrated with this. This was on the roadmap for over 1,5 years now. The deployment speed of Box.com is just shocking, i have tried signing up for the Beta 3 times but never heard back. I need a way to get Drive running on an ARM machine. Our productivity crashed and our only option is to buy new PCs for the entire team. The has to be fixed!

What’s even more odd is that there are now release notes for Box Drive version 2.47 available (see link here) and this version appears to include ARM support, but it doesn’t appear to be available for download anywhere. Very confusing.
