Is this possible? - Linked access to Parent Folder but only visibility into certain files within folder?

I'm hoping this is possible but cant seem to search the right terms in this community to find the answer.

I'm looking to set up a parent folder that I can share the link to that folder with a group of users via an email. Then, within that folder I want to be able to individually share specific files with those users, that are specific to their organizations - without them seeing the contents of each others files.

 

What I'm trying to avoid is having to share different links with the group of users and want to turn off the automated notifications that come out of the parent folder.

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    When you create a shared link for a folder in Box and you decide to share that to a group of users, they will have access to everything that is underneath that folder, so if its just specific or individual files you need to share, I would suggest to create a shared link for individual files to share to others.
