Request SOC 2 Report for Box (Compliance Requirement)

We need to obtain Box’s SOC 2 report for our compliance documentation. Box states that the report is provided under NDA — please contact your account team.

To move forward, someone with Box admin or account access will need to contact our Box account team and request the SOC 2 report, or grant me access so I can initiate the request.

This is required to complete our vendor compliance tasks.

Hi there - Yes, you will need to request from the Box administrator or other designated representative for your organization (this can sometimes be someone from procurement or your legal team or even an IT representative) to reach out to your account team to fulfill this request.  You may also be able to initiate this process by contacting Box Support .

Hi, I should be the representative for this request, but I’m not sure how to proceed.

I tried accessing the Box Support link you shared, but the only option I see is access to the Box Community, which is where I created this post. I’m not sure if this is because my user is missing permissions to reach the menu required to contact the account representative.

At the moment, I’m still unable to find the correct process to initiate this request.

There is a link on the page from that link that will allow you to submit a support request (See circled area in attached image).  Please be as detailed in your request as possible so that the representative has enough information to appropriately route your ticket.

Our company is currently going through an audit of 3rd party services and we require documentation regarding SOC2. I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction or provide the email address of the department dealing with NDA and SOC2 documentation.

👋 Hi @JeremyZ, I’ve moved your post to this relevant topic.

Please refer to the pinned answer above for guidance on obtaining the required documentation. If you don’t have your Account Representative’s email to reach out, kindly submit a ticket to our Product Support team and we’ll take it from there.

Feel free to reach out anytime if you have any other questions or concerns. 😊

We are paid Box.com account in need of your SOC report.  Your trust center directs customer to contact their account team but I don’t believe we have either an assigned CSM or account manager. I thought of submitting a support case but that did not seem to be the right venue for this request so hoping someone from Box can get my request directed to the right team who can engage us on obtaining your SOC reports along with other security related questions we have.

Thank you

I discussed with the team @John C. A support ticket to ask for the SOC 2 is the recommended approach. go on your Box account and then click on your profile in the top right corner and then click on help. That will lead you to zendesk where you can open a basic support ticket. Once you do that, the support team should route it to us and we can get them the link for the SOC 2"
