Ransomware Activity Detection - Automated Session Termination: Now GA!

Hello everyone - we are excited to announce that we have officially rolled out Ransomware Activity Detection - Automated Session Termination to all Box Shield Pro customers! This new capability allows Shield co-admins to automatically terminate a user’s active Box sessions if suspicious ransomware-like behavior is identified. A manual session termination option still exists, but this automated action will allow Box to act as soon as ransomware is identified - reducing the amount of content impacted by any mass encryption attempts.
