Hey everyone, I’m wondering if there is a way to share a template that I made with my entire university?

We have a fillable PDF that sits in a template that anyone can access, its in Box, via a community dashboard.   I have converted the PDF to a Box Template using Box Sign to capture signatures electronically.   In order to share the template with others its looks like I have to share via Email account, but Im wondering if there is another way for the template to be university wide without me having to share it everyone that wants to use it.

Thanks for your suggestions.

👋 Hi @Carey Maus, welcome to the Box Community!

Box Sign does have limitations around sharing templates broadly. The templates created are tied to the creator’s Box account and a feature to publish it university or company-wide is not available. Sorry for any limitations.

For sharing templates, aside from sending email, you can also share the Box folder where your template resides. You can refer to this support article to learn more: Creating, using, and sharing templates

Sharing a template

After you've created a template and saved it in a Box folder, add collaborators to use the template.

So, to share a template, we suggest you add collaborators as “Viewers” as this enables collaborators to use the template but not to upload files to your template folders.

In the meantime, I highly suggest that you share this idea or feature request on Box Pulse. Our Product Team continuously evaluates customer needs and feedback to help improve our services.

If you have any other inquiries, please let us know. 😊

Great thank you so much!!!
