Hi, as Linux desktop grow in popularity, especially among developers, researchers, and data analysts, and everyday users, are there any plans to introduce a native Box client for Linux?
In our case, we work with bioinformatics data on Linux compute systems and often need to upload thousands of individual files at once. The Box web interface often fails or crashes to upload such quantity of files.
Uploading everything as a ZIP archive is also not a viable workaround for us. We need users to be able to browse, view, and download individual files without downloading the entire archive. Since Box currently does not provide a way to unzip archives directly within Box, this approach does not meet our needs either.
Is Linux client support something that is currently being considered or included on the Box roadmap? Cli tools are also welcome.
