HHTU Powers Health Research with Intelligent Content Management
Jey Bueno Box

“Whilst we are early in our Box AI journey, it could support us through the lifecycle of clinical trials, helping us develop everything from drafting patient-facing documentation in a language and style appropriate to the patient population to using AI to ask questions of all our policy and SOPs.”

— John Turgoose, Information Systems Manager, University of Hull Health Trials Unit

The Hull Health Trials Unit (HHTU) is essentially a life sciences startup within a larger, more conventional academic environment at the University of Hull in the UK. A collaboration between this university, Hull York Medical School (HYMS), and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH), HHTU facilitates collaboration between clinicians and researchers on the design, delivery, and analysis of high-impact health research.

Discover the full success story in our latest Box Blog post and dive into insights on:

  • The part content plays in the lifecycle of a clinical trial

As one who started out working informatics in healthcare and research, (way way back in my early days as a human), this is truly novel. 👏

@ericcordell makes a great point and from my own experience working in an academic research environment (UT Southwestern Medical Center) our ability collaborate across the eco-system of investigators, clinical trial cohort participants and lab personnel would have been expanded (back in the day) if we would have had the power of Box’s Intelligent Content Cloud and Box AI.   Now that those team members at the University of Hull (et al) do, the pace of their scientific exploration, research productivity and patient-care initiatives will only accelerate and that’s one of my favorite aspects around Agentic AI’s future - the impact it may have to save human lives.  Applause team #BOX !!!
