What is Box Agent?
Box Agent is a multi-step, autonomous reasoning agent built natively into the Box experience. Unlike a chatbot or a search bar, Box Agent handles complex, document-intensive work automatically so you don't have to. It is now available to use within any Box App.
Here's what it can do:

Analyze: Multi-document analysis that searches, reads, and reasons across large file sets to answer complex questions.

Work natively in Box: No separate tools, no data movement, no new systems. Box Agent operates entirely within Box Apps.

Deliver traceable answers: Get a structured response with direct links back to source documents, not just a list of files.

Provide transparency: The agent provides full transparency into which files Box Agent is accessing and what it's doing.

Maintain your security model: Operates within Box's enterprise-grade infrastructure, respecting existing permissions, governance, and compliance
